The world’s most popular game partnered with the world’s most popular beverage to create a special community driven soccer club for Charlotte.  Welcome to Charlottetowne Hops FC.

A club built on the desire to do good for our community.  The Charlottetowne Hops FC will leverage the power of the beautiful game, and our incredible local community focused craft brewery partners to build a truly unique and powerful game day experience for our collection of football fanatics, families, and friends. 

Soccer and local craft beer have always been kindred spirits says team co-founder Michael “Hitch” Hitchcock.  “Whether it is enjoying a local beer with friends at a tailgate party, having a great beer at a live soccer match at the stadium, or watching a game at one of Charlotte’s 45 breweries, great beer and great soccer pair perfectly.”

The club is also excited to provide new opportunities for our aspiring players, coaches, executives, and staff to pursue their dreams of working and playing in the highest levels of professional soccer.  Who will be the next professional player, executive, community leader to impact our community?

Join the Hops all summer at the CSA OrthoCarolina Sportsplex, competitive home to the 7th largest youth club in the United States the Charlotte Soccer Academy and the new home of the Charlottetowne Hops FC. Enjoy the beauty of Carolina summer sunsets, great soccer, family fun, enjoy some local food, sip a local craft beer and help us transform the stadium into the largest community biergarten in Charlotte all summer long!
